Knightsbridge Date Lassi

East London. 2016. I spent one Ramadan evening with some Saudi Arabian friends and I enjoyed breaking my fast with laban and dates. The laban reminded me of lassi, and I thought – what if I combined the two famous Ramadan foods into one, and sweetened it with dates?
